Premier Estate Properties Sells Acqua Liana, the World's First Eco-mansion

Acqua Liana, the world's first eco-mansion, in Florida's Manalapan Beach, has sold. Listed at US$22.9 million, the property was represented by Christie's Great Estates exclusive Affiliate Premier Estate Properties

This opulent, direct oceanfront home by celebrity real estate artist Frank McKinney is the “greenest” mansion in the United States, and is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council, the Florida Green Building Coalition, and Energy Star for homes.

With seven bedrooms and 10 and one half baths across 15,071 square feet, Acqua Liana is a triumph of design and earth-friendly engineering. Exquisite natural elements infuse the main house, such as a first-ever water floor, multiple water walls, an aquarium wet bar, and swimmable water gardens.

The lavish amenities include a 2,000-square-foot oceanview master suite, an oceanfront koa-wood kitchen, a theater, a grand salon, as well as a guest house and an underground garage with poolview windows.
