Pristine Wildcat Ranch Property Sells near Aspen, Colorado

Joshua & Co., the exclusive Aspen affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, announces the closing today of a real estate transaction valued $17,750,000. 

The approximately 11,000-square-foot, custom log residence and two guest houses are located on 324 acres within the private, gated Wildcat Ranch subdivision. The property is situated between Aspen and Snowmass Village with unobstructed views of the Elk Mountain range.  

Joshua Saslove, president and founder of Joshua & Co. real estate in Aspen, represented the seller, Tommy Mottola. The buyer, who wishes to remain unnamed, was represented by Kathy DeWolfe of Chaffin Light Real Estate, Snowmass Village.  Legal representation for the seller was provided by Natasha Saypol of Garfield & Hecht, P.C., a law firm founded in Aspen in 1975.

The sale comes on the heels of Pitkin County’s largest single-family residence transaction of 2010, a $31.5 million Aspen estate, with seller representation also by Joshua Saslove of Joshua & Co. Other noted sales by Joshua & Co. include the sale of the Historic Hotel Jerome in downtown Aspen in 2007 for $55,000,000, Mandalay Ranch in 2004 for $46,000,000, Crystal Island Ranch in 2006 for $47,000,000, and most recently in 2009, an Aspen home on Red Mountain for $43 million.
