Is Arenas: a New Concept of Golf Living

The beautiful Is Arenas Golf Resort setting will soon be home to a prestigious new villa, set to be come one of the future jewels of ImmobilSarda's real estate portfolio.

Is Arenas is a magnificent bay of Western Sardinia, located in the province of Oristano in the South West of Sardinia. The name "arenas" means sand because the bay was originally characterized by the presence of a large inland expanse of dunes about 700 hectares, the largest in Sardinia. Since 1950 this territory has been the subject of extensive reforestation with the addition of various woods—mainly pines and acacias—which are useful to protect the hinterland from the coating of sand moved by the strong winds.

The Is Arenas Golf Resort is located within this vast pine forest, overlooking the sandy beach. The course was designed by famous American architects Von Hagge, Baril and Smelek, who created the 18 holes within the natural dunes of the area, thus creating one of the most spectacular golf courses in Europe, both from a technical and natural standpoint.  

Currently under construction, the villa is set on the sea front and as such has direct access to the beach. It is surrounded by a beautiful 750 hectare pine forest and is in harmony with its landscape with its original sand dunes. With its clean lines and colors that blend with the natural settings, the villa has been innovatively designed to imitate colonial style architecture in a way which fits with the concepts of bioclimatic design and bio architecture.

The design philosophy that identifies this new construction is centered on a high level of quality and attention to the environment and welfare. Through a clever use of natural materials, clean lines and light colors are guaranteed a seamless integration with the surrounding environment enhancing the colors of the pine forest.

The living area spans two levels and includes a state-of-the-art kitchen, living room, reception area, and private areas for business. There are also relaxation areas with spas, biological pools, areas for staff, elegant suites, spacious terraces, and a solarium with sea views.
