Michael Saunders & Company Posts May Significant Sales
Showing signs of significant recovery in the high-end housing sector, Michael Saunders & Company—the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s Great Estates in Sarasota, Florida—posted a number of record and high priced residential sales this month.
The firm posted the highest waterfront sale in Sarasota County year-to-date for 2010. The property—located on Westway Drive—is set in an exclusive enclave of stately residences on Lido Shores, just north of St. Armands Circle. The lot offers 150 feet of waterfront with a dock, boat lift and direct access to the Gulf of Mexico. This landmark estate closed for US$8,400,000. Linda Roe Dickinson of Michael Saunders & Company represented the buyer.
In Casey Key, Michael Saunders & Company also reported success, closing the highest priced sale in the area this year. “Casa de las Olas,” or the House of Waves, is one of the largest, direct beachfront gated estates on the 8-mile-long island of Casey Key, located just minutes from Sarasota. The property closed for US$4,500,000. Deborah Beacham represented the seller and Annette and Albert Ayers represented the buyer—all agents with Michael Saunders & Company.
Michael Saunders & Company also recently posted the highest Siesta Key sale in Sarasota County year-to-date for 2010. The property is located on in the exclusive Sanderling Club on the white sugary beach of the Gulf of Mexico. This contemporary estate closed for US$6,425,000. Kim and Michael Ogilvie represented the seller, and Linda Roe Dickinson represented the buyer. All are agents with Michael Saunders & Company.
