Before becoming a luxury consultant at Walt Danley Christie's International Real Estate, Karen had three decades of executive level leadership in fundraising in local non-profits, which set the stage for her work in the luxury home business.

"After moving to Arizona from Texas, I immersed myself in the community where I have built important connections and relationships. My non-profit work and creating community is incredibly important to me." Karen has been chairwoman for several high-profile fundraising events such as Fresh Start Women's Foundation, Phoenix Day School, HomeBase Youth Services and Chrysalis Domestic Abuse Shelters. Karen is also passionate about serving the homeless population by volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul Homeless Shelter.

Karen is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Scottsdale Association of Realtors and Paradise Valley Luxury Home Tour.

Karen enjoys traveling internationally, including having lived in London, speaks fluent Spanish, loves animals, and spends as much time as she can with her two sons and grandchildren. You can find her most evenings in her back yard of her beautiful Spanish-style Biltmore-area home enjoying nature, her pets, her friends, historical fiction and a fantastic glass of Cabernet.
