Melinda Miller

I am Melinda Miller and I was raised in the beautiful islands of the Bahamas. I relocated to Illinois in 2018, but have also had the pleasure of living in Florida, D.C, Georgia and Ohio. I started my real estate career in 2017 in Ohio and again in 2020 when I was thrilled to join @properties.

When people are looking for a real estate agent they want someone who can understand their needs and walk them through the experience step by step. They want someone who is also patient, energetic, organized and professional. This is the type of service I strive to provide when helping others find their dream home. Whether you are buying or selling a home, it’s a personalized experience where I work with the client to ensure a smooth process with all expectations met. I have worked with a diverse set of clients and helped them find homes; from first time homebuyers, second home buyers, investors, professional athletes and executives. Interestingly, I am a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice and a graduate or Argosy University with a Masters degree in Forensic Psychology. I have several years of experience working with adolescents and adults with substance abuse disorders. In my spare time I volunteer with the Lake County Probation Department and substitute teach in my local school district.

When I am not helping clients with their real estate needs, I am at my other full time job…MOM! I live in Lake Forest with my twin daughters and a teenage son, whom I’m sure you will see at some point working with me, they are my little assistants. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, eating, reading, traveling, music and of course the beach! I love meeting new people and helping others wherever I can.
