The elevation of Iron Horse ranges from 3,000 feet to 4,000 feet. A short drive takes you to Whitefish Mountain Resort, the region’s largest ski area. Locals and visitors enjoy the mountain all winter, taking advantage of light powder and tree skiing. While the resort offers terrain fit for any kind of skier, its best known for tree skiing. Visitors to the resort during the summer months can mountain bike, hike or ride the ski lift to the summit for views of Glacier National Park or try the thrilling zip-line.
Downtown Whitefish is just minutes away. Visit the charming, boutique shops lining the streets or stop by the local coffee roaster to enjoy a coffee and bakery item. A vibrant nightlife includes restaurants and bars filled with locals and tourists, providing entertaining and friendly conversation for everyone.
