Christopher Plummer is a Broker at HG Christie Real Estate Ltd, the Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate in The Bahamas.  After almost six years as an estate agent with HG Christie Ltd, he decided to open his own company Abaco Cays Realty Ltd, from late 2006 until 2016. In 2017 Chris joined Engle & Volker’s for two years, and in 2020 he rejoined HG Christie Ltd to date. Chris has been with HG Christie Ltd now for twelve nonconsecutive years and was awarded the Circle of Excellence honoree for sales in 2025.

Chris entered the real estate business in 2000 and received his Real Estate License in 2002. In 2003 he was inducted into the Bahamas Real Estate Institute and became a Broker in 2006. He follows a long family tradition in the real estate industry. Chris is the grandson of Frank Holmes Christie, CBE, who, along with his brother, Sir Harold George Christie, KT, CBE, founded HG Christie Ltd in 1922. Chris’ mother, Diane Taylor, Frank Christie’s daughter, ran HG Christie until 1990.

HG Christie Ltd covers all of The Bahamas and specializes in Abaco. The Abaco territory includes the mainland of Great Abaco, Little Abaco Islands, and all the outlying cays. The area is approximately 650 square miles, including fourteen towns, villages, settlements, and copious small islands.

Born in Nassau, New Providence, Chris attended elementary school in the islands and in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Tabor Academy in Marion, Massachusetts and studied Business Administration at Jacksonville University in Florida. He later attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's independent study program.

After school, Chris became an airline pilot and earned the U. S. Airline Transport Pilot rating (ATP) – the highest license a pilot can carry. He is also a Certified Flight Instructor (CFII), one of the few licensed in The Bahamas. His thirteen-year career as a pilot included the airlines: Trans Island Airways, Eastern Express and Paradise Island Airways a US Air Express carrier. Most of Christopher’s flying career covered routes in The Bahamas, giving him the unique opportunity to visit every major island in the country.

Through long-term family associations, Chris has spent considerable time in Abaco over the years. In 1998 he decided to move to Abaco permanently, make a career change and join the family business in real estate.

In addition to flying airplanes, Christopher’s personal interests include fishing, diving and traveling.

Since 2020 Chris has shared his time between Lexington, Virginia and Green Turtle Cay, Abaco with his wife, Leisa. Chris’ two children, Morgan and Evan live in Florida.
