Christie's American Art Sale Previewed at $85 Million Home Offered by Exclusive Real Estate Affiliate, Willis Allen

Rancho Santa Fe  - Christie’s International Real Estate partnered with BBVA Compass bank to host a special preview of American art to be auctioned by Christie’s in New York on November 22.

The event was designed not only to offer guests a rare glimpse of selections from the upcoming auction but to view them in a trophy residence that is also available for sale and is listed by Christie’s International Real Estate’s exclusive affiliate, San Diego-based Willis Allen.

Invited guests viewed artwork on display in the main residence of Del Dios Ranch. Selections included two paintings by Childe Hassam as well as works by William Merritt Chase, Frederick Frieseke, and others. On hand to discuss the art was Elizabeth Beaman, Head of American Art at Christie’s.
