Maxine Holland

Maxine is originally from New England and attended George Washington University. After graduating, she moved to NY and worked in sales and marketing. It allowed her to meet and work with people from all over the world. She quickly discovered that no matter where we come from we almost always have far more in common than not. That lesson that has served her well in her career.

When she left the Big Apple for SW FL, she began her real estate career in Sarasota, FL, first as an assistant at Coldwell Banker and then as a realtor with Michael Saunders & Company. She is now a happy to be a member of the John R. Wood team. Her philosophy is simple: "Integrity Matters", and that means recognizing that a transaction is more than just a business exchange. She believes the process of buying or selling a home is a very personal thing. Every member of the process is equally important, so clear communication is vital. She experienced the market through good times, insurmountably difficult times, and saw firsthand just how deeply affected so many people were when the market crumbled. Everyone has their own unique story and circumstances. She believes that it's imperative to be mindful of that in order to provide her clients with the best service to meet their specific needs and goals. Maxine loves helping people and feels enormous satisfaction in being a part of helping them realize their real estate dreams, big and small!

When she's not helping her clients, she loves spending time with family and friends. She's been an old movie buff ever since she can remember and loves music. On a rainy day she enjoys playing the piano and cooking-they're like therapy to her. She admits she may not be exceptionally good, but she loves them both and her family has to put up with it!
