Jim McGinn

Originally from Lexington, MA, Jim spent the first 18 years of his professional career in advertising, working at the two largest advertising agencies in Boston: Hill/Holliday and Arnold Worldwide. Jim held Senior Vice President/Group Account Director positions at both firms and oversaw their technology practices and large financial services accounts. In 2003, he left advertising to move full time to SWFL with his wife, April Hoover.

Jim began his next career at Germain BMW of Naples, where he spent 15 years as a Client Advisor. Jim was New Car Salesman of the Year 8 out of the last 10 years.

Jim was bitten by the Naples real estate bug after helping his wife, April, and his longtime BMW customer and friend, Paula Sims, in an un-licensed capacity. He made his final career move, joining the The Naples Cay Experts at John R. Wood Properties, in September, 2018.

Jim received his BS in Marketing from Boston College, and obtained his MBA from the University of Rhode Island. As longtime dedicated animal advocates, Jim and April share their home with rescue dog Lucy.
