John Valenti

John Valenti, a graduate of the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, has joined the John R. Wood family after retiring from a 19 year career in banking. During his long tenure in that industry, he held a variety of investment licenses including a Series 7 and the Florida Insurance License, and he as certified as a Consumer and Small Business Lender. He began with First Union (now Wells Fargo) in 1996 and then ended his time in 2014 in management as a Vice President with Regions Bank. John is incredibly well-versed in all divisions of the Industry including private banking, investment and traditional banking services and real estate lending, which gives him a unique perspective when working with investors and individuals on their real estate purchases.

John moved to the area 20 years ago from Western New York and began his professional career in Naples as a real estate appraiser prior to entering banking. His desire to return to sales and true, old-fashioned, customer service that is the hallmark of his career, is what led him to join his wife, Mimy von Schreiner-Valenti, and her business partner, Kate Del Gatto, on their highly successful Team, "Partners in Paradise". This move into luxury real estate sales allows John to be focused on what he loves: personalized, professional service that is second to none. He is looking forward to expanding his ever-growing family of satisfied clients and customers.

In his spare time, John enjoys reading, golf, travel, and spending time with his family: his wife, Mimy, their school-aged boys, Jack and William, as well as their extended family, many of whom spend their time here in Naples as well.
