On a corner plot, surrounded by large deciduous trees, sits this elegant 19th century villa. Peacefully and centrally located in the picturesque city of Vadstena, the house is nestled among fruit trees, bushes and plants creating a private oasis. The builders were the well-known Nyström brothers who built several mansions in the county during the 19th century. The house came to be part of the Hospital until the second half of the 20th century, when it passed to the Daughters of Mary. They ran a guesthouse there until 1997, when the current owners took over and rebuilt the villa into a residential building.
