A fairy tale property, one of the very first ones on this hillside in Pantogia, overlooking the Pevero Bay and a 5-minute drive from Porto Cervo.

Villa Marem was designed by the world famous architect Savin Couelle, who actually resided there, and recently wisely renovated by Architect Patrick Lesuisse.
Driving through the house's beautiful gate, you immediately sense a great feeling of seclusion and feel yourself completely lost in nature. The several levels on which the villa is set follow the natural contours of the landscape, so that it blend into its surrounding natural context.

Thanks to the recent complete refurbishment the original project has been enhanced, the house extended, all its amenities renovated and beautiful pergolas were constructed from chestnut and bamboo wood, designed to blend in with the structure of the house and the surrounding nature, whilst lots of its original wood and stone features have been kept.

The property boasts a traditional architecture with the skilful use of local materials such as granite, terracotta floors, wood for the custom furnishings and fine décor which, together, create an elegant comfortable and very welcoming atmosphere. It is designed to be a continuum between interior and exterior spaces thanks to its many large windows and openings overlooking the several verandas, terraces and the garden. A home exquisitely crafted both for total seclusion but also designed for entertaining.

The indoor living area leads to a spacious terrace with lounge area offering beautiful sea views on the horizon and a large and very comfortable dining area with a barbecue and a wood-fired pizza oven.
The main villa consists of five ensuite bedrooms, all overlooking or with direct access to the garden, kitchen, and pantry, tv area, laundry and wine cellar, while the charming dépendance, consisting of an additional bedroom with bathroom, is set among the granite rocks and lush vegetation.

The garden has been completely transformed and conceived to ensure full enjoyment of all its corners at different times of the year, even at night, thanks to its external lighting system, especially the belvedere corner with stunning views over the Pevero Bay, the fabulous swimming pool with solarium and the a real waterfall with pond. When the current owners bought Villa Marem, there was no garden. The area was overgrown and had, over the years become a small wilderness. The garden designer Sole Paradisi completely transformed it. It was conceived to ensure full enjoyment of all its corners at different times of the year. At night it is beautifully lit and creates a wonderful backdrop to an evening's entertainment.

The gardens and terraces surround the main house and all its bedrooms: everything has been thought out to the smallest detail, to create a unique closeness and harmony between architecture and nature.
